iFarmaci serves as a comprehensive reference tool for iOS and Mac OS, offering up-to-date information on a wide range of medications, including hospital, specialist, and veterinary drugs. Unlike other applications, it allows offline access, does not display advertisements, and prioritizes user privacy by requiring no registration or collection of personal or professional data.

The drug data provided encompasses details such as manufacturer, price, active ingredient, category, monographs (including leaflets), pharmacology, and additional relevant information.

This application facilitates efficient searches for medications by commercial name, active ingredient, or barcode scanning. It also supports direct textual searches within monographs for enhanced research capabilities.

Advanced features include viewing equivalent drugs sorted by price, drug interaction checks, related medication categories, and more. Users can add personal notes to each medication, organize favorites, and utilize the optional "armadietti" module to track expiration dates.

All data is automatically synchronized across multiple devices via iCloud. An optional module allows the addition of over 35,000 para-pharmaceuticals and dietary supplements to the database.

iFarmaci licensed the Secure Farma DB database from CGM Italia Group, Italy’s leading Digital Health company. The drug information is refreshed annually at no cost. For more frequent updates, a subscription-based service is available, providing monthly data updates.
